Lindsay Hugenholtz
Lindsay Hugenholtz Sherk is a dynamic leader with extensive experience leading community-based organizations, overseeing the development and operationalization of strategic plans, and guiding community engagement strategies. Throughout her career, Lindsay has worked with not-for-profits, governments and start ups, combining strategic thinking with practical expertise in government relations, policy development, and project leadership.
Lindsay’s leadership accomplishments include revenue generation through government programs, community fundraising and sponsorship; nurturing strong partnerships across a variety of stakeholders; overseeing complex projects; providing change leadership through the refinement of policies and programs; and, developing people through mentorship and coaching.
Lindsay is a member of the Board of Directors for the Ottawa Humane Society. She is the Past-President of the Board of Directors for Motivate Canada, and a former member of the Board for the Canadian Association for the Advancement of Sport (CAAWS). She has been to the World University Games, Commonwealth Games, Pan Am Games and Summer Olympics as the team manager for Diving. She attended the 2002 Winter Olympics, the 2006 Commonwealth Games, and the 2012 Paralympic Games on Team Canada’s mission staff.
